Declaration of consent

We will use "Zoom" to host this online event. By participating and logging in via Zoom, participants acknowledge the processing of their data in the USA and consent to participate in the online event of the Hertie School gemeinnützigen GmbH (hereinafter "Hertie School") on Tuesday, 4 October 2022 via Zoom. In the USA, there is no level of data protection comparable to the requirements of the GDPR. It is possible that government agencies in the USA access personal data without others or event participants themselves knowing about it. It is probably not possible to enforce the participant's rights in the USA. By logging in via Zoom, participants agree that their data may also be processed, that the online event will be recorded and that content discussed during this online event may be subsequently published in print, online and audiovisual formats by the Hertie School, in particular on the Hertie School website, and that first and last names will be published in the process. Notes: As a participant in the online event, you can control at any time whether you want to switch on the camera and microphone.

I acknowledge that I have been informed that I can revoke my consent at any time with effect for the future at events@hertie-school.org.

Event regulations | participation on-site

It is our priority to ensure a safe event. As rules for masks and tests have been relaxed in Germany, we kindly ask for your responsibility and consideration during the event. We encourage all guests of the event to be fully vaccinated and wear a mask. The Hertie School reserve the right to publish photographic, audio and film documentation of this event in print, online, and audiovisual formats. By registering for the event you consent to appear in the documentation.

I consent
